Well-run appraisal meetings can boost morale, engender loyalty and raise performance in staff. When poorly run, the appraisal meeting can have serious consequences. Participants in this workshop will work with an experienced iHR facilitator and two actors using iHR's unique Workplace Reality Theatre to develop the skills and confidence to conduct successful appraisal meetings.

• apply SMART principles in developing work objectives and KRAs

• understand common assessment errors

• understand and be able to apply important techniques to plan and prepare for appraisal meetings
